Three women doing a series of sketches in the hotbox that is the Pleasance Beside. Just as the show started there was a huge thunderclap and the heavens outside opened making dialogue a bit harder to hear for a bit. The show actually started with a tour guide talking to a pair of old gentry about how they have had to rent their estate out due to taxes, and we got some stories about the dirty things they got up to in their youth. We then had a number of sketches including a demented day care centre, some teenagers on a picnic and baby wars.

Some of the sketches were very funny but there were a fair number where the audience seemed mystified and the sketch where I was dragged up on stage was the strangest one of all as it was a mince (the meat) gameshow. Still, I got a chocolate bar out of it.
The ladies were very good with the accents and didn’t miss a line but I think they needed to road test the material a bit more and the gaps between the sketches may require something to keep the audience distracted while they are changing. I’d estimate there was about 50% excellent material and the rest needing trimming for this to be a top show. It’s still worth seeing though for the stuff that does work.
