Marcus Ryan

(Australia)

Marcus Ryan previously worked in breakfast radio (3MFM) and acting before stand up, a runner up in Raw Comedy (2003) earned him an invite to the Edinburgh Festival with the Raw Prawns troupe (2003). He then gigged comprehensively around the UK before returning home to Australia to be selected for The Melbourne Comedy Festival’s Comedy Zone (2004).

He has performed stand-up regularly at corporate events, charities, clubs, pubs and festivals throughout the world including tours in Australia, the USA and Canada, Barcelona and Ireland.

Currently based in the UK, he has kept busy with 4 shows at 3 Edinburgh Fringe Festivals including a lead role in a play he co-produced. Another huge honour was being selected to showcase in Vancouver with the ‘Rising Stars’ (2005) alongside acts from all over the world.
