Australian Comedy Review

Originally from Adelaide, Justin started in standup comedy in 1994 as part of a duo called The Bunta Boys. Justin has run rooms in Adelaide such as PJ O’Briens and the Rhino Room as well as taking the reigns for the inaugral Adelaide Comedy Festival in 2005. Since 2000 Justin has made several appearance in Festivals both around Australia and in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, winning the coveted “Piece of Wood” award in the 2003 MICF for his show “Justin Hamilton is Justin Sane”. In 2005 Justin brought his sellout show Father, Where Art Thou? to the Melbourne Comedy Festival and 2006 saw him return with with his critically successful show Justin Hamilton: Smash!. In 2007 Justin was the recipient of Melbourne Comedy Festival’s Festival Directors’ Award and The Groggy Squirrel’s Critics’ Award for his critically acclaimed trilogy of shows Three Colours Hammo
