Impro Melbourne

(Australia)

Impro Melbourne is one of Melbourne’s most intriguing theatre ensembles. With beginnings back in the ‘90s at the height of the Theatre Sports phenomenon, the company has survived and evolved over the last ten years.

The core group of around 20 performers come from backgrounds as diverse as theatre, television, radio, teaching, medicine, psychology and much more. Every performer is a skilled actor, writer and director. We love theatre, stories, pop culture, performing on the fly and jumping without a net.

The result is explosive theatre – risk, hilarity, pathos. No scripts, no rules. Just the quickest wits, most impassioned stories and best night’s entertainment you could hope to see.
