Hung Le (Australia)

A man of many talents, Hung is a violinist turned comedian who first made his mark in 1987 as the winner of Hey Hey Its Saturday’s Red Faces and Melbourne International Street Performers Competition with the clowning, classical troupe ‘COMO STRING QUARTET’.

He has featured in Australian blockbuster films ‘The Wogboy’ ‘Fat Pizza’ ‘SNAK’ and ‘True Love and Chaos’.

His first book ‘The Yellow Peril From Sin City’ was released through Penguin. His second, a children’s book ‘BarryBoodles & DaKillerBs’ is with Random House.

Hung has appeared at major festivals in Australia, UK, Edinburgh Fringe, Juste Pour Rire-Montreal, and Hong Kong.

Hung has had stints in Circus Oz, done stand up comedy in NY and Hollywood, and been an Irish song and dance man in Eureka-The Musical.

A constant on Australian TV since 1988, Hung has made two documentaries for the ABC and SBS and Atlas Australia for the Discovery Channel. Overseas TV include CNN, MTV, The Muppet Show, Wow Wow[Japan] and London Weekend Television.
