Fiona Scott Norman

(Australia)

Fiona Scott-Norman is a comedian, satirist, columnist, cabaret director, DJ and radio broadcaster.

Her solo show The Needle And The Damage Done, a top ten of the worst records ever released in the history of the world, premiered at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2007, where it sold out. Since then the show has been seen at the Sydney Opera House, The Famous Spiegeltent, The Woodford Festival, The Adelaide Cabaret Festival, The Butterfly Club, the Hong Kong Fringe Club, The Fortune Theatre in Dunedin, New Zealand, The ABC Collectors, and everywhere from Mount Isa and Canarvon to Burnie and Alice Springs.

Fiona writes a regular satire column, Culture Police, for The Big Issue, and co-hosts regularly with Derek Guille on ABC 774. She currently has a book out, 50 Reasons To Quit Smoking/50 Reasons To Keep Smoking (www.affirmpress.com), which is both hilarious and useful.
