Dan Brader

(Australia)

Dan Brader is a New Zealand born stand-up comedian based in Melbourne. Brader worked in the radio industry as an announcer and copywriter in New Zealand and Australia before getting involved in stand-up comedy in Australia in Perth at the beginning of 2007. He moved to Melbourne in early 2008. Dan has also written film, music and video game reviews for major New Zealand newspapers ("Otago Daily Times", "Southland Times") and has written and directed short plays staged in theatres in Dunedin and Auckland in New Zealand. He performed his first Melbourne comedy festival show in 2009 entitled "Commericially Viable Comedian (comes with free chicken parma and a pot)". Dan has performed comedy all throughout Australia in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane and has also performed in Dunedin, New Zealand. He currently runs "The Death Star Canteen" a weekly comedy room that takes place every Wednesday at 8pm at Caz Reitops Dirty Secrets in Smith Street, Fitzroy.
