Craig Annis (Australia)

Craig began his comedy career in 2000 in the comedy duo “The Three Guys” performing regularly on the Central Coast of New South Wales.

Moving to Melbourne to study at the prestigious Victorian College of the Arts School of Drama.

Graduating in 2004, Craig hit the ground running, performing at practically every comedy room in Melbourne. In 2005 he was a grand finalist in “You Gotta Be Joking” and a Raw Comedy State Finalist.

Craig has also appeared with The 4 Noels in “Shane’s Big Swim” for the 2006 Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

As well as being a stand up comedian, Craig is also a member of physical comedy trio ‘The Squirth’, who recently had a ripper season with their show, “Sherlock the Vampire Slayer” debuting at the 2006 Melbourne Fringe Festival. The Squirth had major success earlier in the year with the cult classic radio series “CLUBBER’S CROSSING” which aired on KISS FM.

Craig’s alter ego Nan Evans appeared at the 2006 Big Laugh Festival in Sydney with her unique brand of bingo, so much so that Nan Evans will re-appear at there in 2007.
