Charlie Pickering has become a mainstay of the Melbourne comedy scene since he began performing stand up comedy in 2000.
Charlie and long time collaborator Michael Chamberlin began Stagetime, one of Melbourne’s most influential rooms in late 2000. Stagetime celebrated several incarnations and became an iconic Melbourne comedy institution until it finale in late 2005.
Charlie has an impressive festival history, appearing in festivals both in Australia and around the world. 2002 saw Charlie team up again with Michael to produce their Piece of Wood Award winning show Boiling Point.
