In only three years since his debut in 2004 Ben Lomas has become one of Melbourne’s fastest rising comedy stars. From his first run of shows in Amsterdam, to MC and support work in Melbourne and then to festival and corporate work, Ben’s comedy career has been characterised by success after success, with hundreds of delighted audiences trailing in his wake. 2007 saw Ben headline the wildly successful Melbourne International Comedy Festival show ‘The Department of Humour Services’, which he captained to a massive sell out season that has been followed by a series of professional gigs for government associations, and more acclaim for his consistently strong performances. With his charismatic stage presence, sharp wit, and an eye for the absurdities of everyday life, Ben is comic who is in demand, in the press, and indisputably hilarious.
