As the Melbourne Fringe Festival winds to a close, the Awards were announced on the penultimate night. Here are the award winners featuring comedy folk:
There was tie for the Brisbane Powerhouse Comedy Award. Those winners were Asher Treleaven for Secret Door and Stephanie Brotchie and Vachel Spirason for The Hermitude of Angus, Ecstatic.
Geraldine Quinn received a Special Commendation in the Best Cabaret category for her show Shut Up & Sing.
In the Best Comedy category there were two Special Commendations, Andrew McClelland for Truth Be Told and Anne Edmonds for Ever Since the Dawn of Anne. The winners were Stephanie Brotchie and Vachel Spirason for The Hermitude of Angus, Ecstatic.
