Artist registrations for the 2011 Adelaide Fringe Festival are now open. The largest fringe arts festival in the Southern Hemisphere will be running from 18th of February until the 13th of March and attracts acts from all over the world. The comedy category always boasts a large range of performers, many of them move on to the festivals that follow Fringe. Registrations close on October 15th, so start planning your act now! In addition, the Fringe Poster Competition is calling for entries from those folks who know their way around a set of pencils, pens, paints and other materials. This competition is held every year to find an image to promote the Fringe Festival. This year’s theme if ‘King and Queen of the Fringe’.
