Following the success of her show Please Don’t Use My Flannel for That: A Memoir at both the Melbourne and Adelaide Fringe Festivals, Lou Sanz has been invited as a guest to perform a season of it at the US Indy Fringe (held from 20th to 29th of August in Indianapolis). All of us at The Australian Comedy Review wish Lou all the best.

Before she heads off, she will give a final performance of the new American Edition that will act as both a farewell and fundraiser (apparently they don’t understand what Flannel means, and Lou needs new costumes for the new show she’s writing).
If you missed the show the first time around here’s the synopsis:
“At the age of 18 Lou was invited to Hollywood to make a movie. Things didn’t quite go to plan. From living with a real life cowboy, to finding refuge in a halfway house on the run from the Australian Embassy, this is that story.”
It is happening at The Order of Melbourne on Thusrday July 29th starting at 7:30pm. Tickets are $20/$15 at the door although presale tickets are available for $17 by emailing sanzscript@gmail.com.
