A new addition to the 2010 Rottofest, the Search for Australia’s Funniest Filmmakers Competition is an event that adds to the film, music and comedy that will feature over the weekend of August 27th to 29th at Rottnest Island, Western Australia.
This competition aims to stimulate comedy film production nationwide with the finalists being screened at Rottofest as well as at the 9th Annual Bohemia Outdoor Film Festival in 2011. Entries are now open with two categories to enter:
Funniest Skit – Up to 3 minutes in length. This is the first dedicated skit competition in Australia.
Funniest Film – Between 3 to 15 minutes in length.
