2010 MOOSEHEAD AWARD APPLICATION NOW OPEN

The Brian McCarthy Memorial Moosehead Committee are very happy to let you all know that applications are now open for 2010. They are also very excited to announce that THE COMEDY CHANNEL has again teamed up with the moosehead Awards for next year in the form of THE COMEDY CHANNEL Director’s Grant. The Mooseheads try to find new playgrounds for working comedians and performers – a chance to spotlight an idea rather than just turning out “another show”. The Mooseheads have become one of the most enduring traditions in the Australian comedy community. Funded solely through a benefit show on the last night of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the Mooseheads have used the resources of the comedians that make up our comedy community to seed growth and innovation. Applications close: Thursday 15 September 2009
