It’s August and The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is up and running at full strength. This year, as is often the case, a plethora of Australian performers are trying their luck, hoping to be the next big thing (ala Tim Minchin) and perhaps win, whatever it is they’ve decided to call their Awards this year (I think they are nicknamed ‘The Eddies’ this year). There are even more Aussies over there this year, so we wish them all the best of luck and will try to keep up with all that’s happening. We will print the shortlist for The Eddies that are announced on Aug 26th.
