A pair of female comedians doing a series of related sketches loosely based on a theme? Sure it’s been done before, but this was a little more sick and demented that most comedians would dare before midnight. It starts with an encounter in a newsagents that leads to a series of cautionary tales that your parents were always going on about (don’t run with scissors etc).

Liz and Freya (who gave different names in the show to those on the programme, unless I was in the wrong room) are very good as a team and most of the songs came across very well, but it was in the comic timing and writing that the show really showed it’s skills. The sketches are fast and funny, the audience laughed long and hard and the chairs were painful to sit on. Get there early, grab a bar stool (or bring a pillow), enjoy the show and expect at some point to be morally offended while laughing at the same time.
