Seven young ladies from Australia are here on a mission to destroy all your myths about Disney princesses with lovely harmonies and rather funny scripts. The show begins with a song charting the history of female empowerment featuring many of the great female heroes. After this we are introduced to the Disney princesses by the pianist Tinkerbell who will also be playing a few other instruments and singing later in the show. The Disney princesses all have an initial scene in which they are shown their fates and later, we have the response to what the gods had decreed.

The princesses in question are Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Ariel from ‘The Little Mermaid’, Cinderella, Jasmine from ‘Aladdin’, Belle from ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and Tinkerbell who just wants to be a princess. They all wear the Disney costumes but i’m sure Walt would never have approved of what happens in this show. The songs are all well written and beautifully executed, the jokes are very bad taste (especially the song ‘Too Soon’), there are a few guest appearances (the cast of Twilight?) and the ladies all work very hard to make the audience laugh, which they do with gusto.

This is a great show to take your teenage friends/family to, hopefully destroying all their preconcieved ideas about what a princess is, though it is definitely not for younger folk as there is lots of rude words and a few adult themes, as they say. To sum up, dirty and funny and harmonically lovely.
