A delight of a show featuring the songs of the duo Flanders and Swann. As they broke up 50 years ago, the fact that this show is still selling out is a testament to the writing skills of the original pair and the singing (and chatting) skills of Tim and Alex. Not only are there all your favourite songs including Hippopotamus, Gnu, In the bath, the Reluctant Cannibal, the Epic of the Olive Stuffer and many more, there is also a fine line in sardonic wit and humour. Just don’t be late or you’ll find yourself at the sharp end of Tim’s tongue. Also there are a few small concessions to the modern world in the status symbol song and a few other revisions for the 21st century.

This is an hour of wallowing in nostalgia, where there may be a lot of complicated words but none of them are rude, so you can bring your kids along to the show and teach them the delights of some of the greatest comedy songwriters in British music hall history. You can also pick up a copy of their CD and Tim’s book for a tenner after the show.
