OK, firstly I must say this is a very gay show. What with the lights, pumping disco music, very tight costumes and special 3D glasses, it was looking like a show that I was going to find difficult to enjoy (REALLY not my scene). The show did have a lot of very impressive aspects to it, as it started with the four male band members having their attributes loaded into the stage disco computer (?), and doing some impressive dance moves. I assume this was because they were robots or had something to do with how all modern music is computer controlled. It was very impressive on the big screen and maybe I’m just too old to understand the hi-tech world of clubbing in the new milennium. Still it was used a bit during the show as they had upgrades to become digital and then the computer suffered an overload which meant they had to find ‘proper’ instruments. I did also think that for a band that is meant to be from Sweden, they were sounding very Mexican at times during the songs, but maybe that’s just the way you have to perform the Latino music.

The big finale with the 3D glasses was spectacular and almost worth the price of admission alone. I will warn you not to sit in the front for this show as firstly, there is a lot of dry ice, secondly the band lost control of their props a few times and the trolley for the double bass came flying out and hit the person next to me, thirdly a lot of the action is best viewed from a small distance back and finally you really don’t want to be that close to those tight trousers.

So if you love a pumping bass and those disco songs going about the clubs these days (forgive my ancient terminology but I’m just not up wiv da yoof) and you don’t mind a bit of campness in your stage show, this is the one to see.
