Sadly for the audience this show had a twenty minute delay to its start due to a technical problem that just never got fixed. The show starts with the duo lying on the stage with large thought bubbles projected onto a screen with amusing thoughts. Don’t know how many I’d missed by the time I took my seat but it was entertaining way to start the show.
From this we move to a pair of obnoxious South Africans (I recommend any Saffas not see this show) who, while amusing, were a bit too irritating for my liking. We also had Anna and Katy doing a lot of sketches in a variety of settings intercut with short videos from a pair of weird females trying to describe their view of the world. My favourite sketch was the scientists trying to dissect their version of a blue whale. Sadly the big finale was ruined as we learnt the technical problem was with the sound system and it was a let down to what had been an entertaining hour of silliness from a pair of comedians whom you know you’ve seen of the telly sometime.
So if you’re not looking for any serious comedy, but just an hour of fun and floral dresses (and perhaps just a little massacre), you’ll love this show.
