There’s a new competion afoot for young comedians wishing to chance their hand. LoLapalooza is a fresh comedy competition that will support and provide an opportunity for aspiring comedians.
LoLapalooza will be held on Saturday 4th of July at the Kaleide Theatre from 3pm. Cushla Travers from SYN’s newest comedy program ‘In Joke’ will be on the mike hosting the event. There will be performances by Tom Ballard, Sam Simmons and Jack Druce.
SYN is now looking for young comedians to take part. Registration is open to any comedian from the ages of 12-25 and opens Monday 1st of June and closes Friday 14th of June. This is the first time that this will competition will ever take place.
FReeZA and SYN share a mutual goal to cater safe events for young people that are both fun and enriching.
FReeZA is a Victorian Government program that aims to provide the youth with enjoyable music and cultural events that are drug/ alcohol-free. SYN is a supporter and is proudly Melbourne’s largest independent youth media organisation.
