A legend of Melbourne Comedy, Dave Grant has recently been diagnosed with cancer. For over seventeen years, Dave has performed throughout Australia, New Zealand and the USA, and has been active in raising awareness and funding for various causes, including cancer research.
His friends in the comedy community have banded together to raise funds so that Dave can beat this disease and regain his health and wellbeing. Doing It For Dave will be held on Sunday 28th of June at the Athenaeum Theatre. This event features performances by Dave Hughes, Tony Martin, Glenn Robbins, Judith Lucy, Wil Anderson, Peter Rowsthorn, Dave O’Neil, Peter Helliar, Greg Fleet, Christine Basil, Lawrence Mooney, Brad Oakes, Pommy Johnson, and many more.
