The Melbourne Fringe Festival registrations are open from Monday 25th May and close on Friday 12 June. You don’t need to have absolutely everything worked out- the venue, title, show times and a publicity image will do to get you started.

We believe that artists should determine the shape, direction and trends of contemporary culture, so the independent program is entirely open access says Emily Sexton, Creative Producer of the Melbourne Fringe. This allows the newest ideas, free from the constraints of a theme or pre-defined category, to sit proudly in the Festival’s program.
Melbourne Fringe is there to help you all along the way. They can assist you in finding a venue, they offer free training forums in various aspects of producing and presenting a show, and assist each and every show by providing a major marketing and publicity campaign to promote the entire program.
The Melbourne Fringe Info Night is on Monday 1st June at 6pm in the Fairfax Foyer, The Arts Centre, St Kilda Road. Whether this is your first Fringe show or your tenth, Info Night is the way to find out what’s new, what’s important and what’s not.
To Register go to www.melbournefringe.com.au or call them on 03 9660 9600.
