After 10 years and over 450 gigs as a venue for Adelaide Comedy PJ O’Brien’s is set to close its doors. Tuesday night will see the last gig from PJ’s and will feature Ben Darsow with Jason Chong, Mark Trenwith, Scott John, Richard Brophy, Big Al and Average.
Adelaide comedy says on its website We understand how hard it is to get in to the city and find a park for a lot of people especially in the current economic downturn. So we are moving our Tuesday Nights from PJ’s to the Arkaba Hotel. This is our first step in taking Comedy out in to the suburbs. Coming Soon there will be new clubs opened up in the North and South of Adelaide so stay tuned to find a Comedy Club near you.
Adelaide comedy have thanked the staff of PJ O’Brien’s and the comics who have performed there over the years, including special mentions to Justin Hamilton, Lehmo and Mickey D amongst others.
