The 2009 TGS Awards were announced Sunday night at Trades Hall.

The Groggy Squirrel Critic’s Award was decided between five shows:

  • Celia Pacquola: Am I Strange
  • Denise Scott: Number 26
  • Lawrence Leung & Andrew McClelland Time Ninjas
  • Heath McIvor: Randy’s Postcards from Purgatory
  • The Bedroom Philosopher Songs from the 86 Tram

And the winner was Denise Scott: Number 26.

The winner of The Groggy Squirrel Reader’s Award was World War Wonderful. Running close behind in the votes were The List Operators, The Suitcase Royale Space Show, Celia Pacquola in Am I Strange and Xavier Micheleders Post Apocalyptic Users’ Guide.

The Pun also handed out an an award for Comedy Development which went to The Skirt Network.
