Enrollments are now open for Impro Melbourne’s Workshop Courses for term 2. Running from April 28th until June 24th on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, two hour weekly sessions are available for the public to attend. Participants will learn improvisational skills from some of Melbourne’s experienced performers. There are four courses available:
- Spontaneity : An introduction to the theory, language, skills and basic building blocks of improvisation, explored through the use of games, exercises and discussion.
- Narrative : Only open to people who have done Spontaneity. This looks at how to identify the elements of a story, and use them to construct stories.
- Character : Only open to people who have done the Narrative and Spontaneity courses. This course assists performers to invent and portray the wide range of characters.
- Impro Gym : The final stage of the public Impro course that keeps up your impro fitness with a regular weekly workout.
