On Monday night, the 2nd of February Australians will get a chance to see the famously censored Bill Hicks routine recorded for The Late Show with David Letterman in 1993.

The routine, recorded only months before Hicks’ untimely death due to cancer, was the only routine in Letterman history up until that point to be censored in its entirety.
The episode of The Late Show with David Letterman, which was shown in the US on Friday, will also feature an appearance by Hicks’ mother, Mary.
The offending routine included material about anti abortionists, with Hicks saying If you’re so pro-life, do me a favour: don’t lock arms and block medical clinics. If you’re so pro-life, lock arms and block cemeteries.
The Late Show with David Letterman will air on Channel 10, 11:25pm, Monday 2nd February
