The Australian Festival season almost upon us with the next major one being The Adelaide Fringe. Running from the 27th of February until the 22nd of March, the Fringe remains the largest fringe arts festival in the Southern Hemisphere. The comedy section threatens to dwarf the other arts disiplines in the program which has been launched recently.

A number of shows have been seen by various squirrels st other festivals. We had heartily recommend checking out Damien Callinan calls Last Drinks, 1000 Years of German Humour, Bec Hill in If You Can read This, My Cape Fell Off, Beaconsfield: A Musical In No Particular Key, David O’Doherty: Let’s Comedy, Extreme Blonde, Felicity Ward’s Ugly As a Child Variety Show, Harley Breen in The Kingswood and I, Nicky Talacko in It’s For You!, The Anarchist Guild Social Committee, The Boy With Tape on His Face, Was It A Cat I Saw? and Tim Minchin – Ready For This?.
The above list is just the tip of the iceberg with many more acts from all over the world decending upon Adelaide in March, many of these shows will be making their premiere at the Fringe.
