Now in it’s third year, St Kilda Laughs Festival (part of the St Kilda Festival) is a one week event from Jan 30 to Feb 7 2009, the presents shows at venues throughout the city of St Kilda, Victoria.

They currently are seeking participants with productions of stand up comedy, theatre and cabaret. If you are a producer or artist and want to present a show at the St Kilda Laughs Festival, check out their myspace page to download a registration form.

WHAT YOU GET:

A professionally run venue with a tech and PA Supplied.(standard tech set up for stand up comedy any additional tech requirements is at your cost.)

Your show promoted on the ST KILDA Festival web site, featured in the St Kilda Laughs Brochure (20,000 distribution in the Port Phillip). Promoted daily from the LIVE N LOCAL Information Booth.

70% of the box-office Gross paid to you. Payable the week after as soon as settlement has been made.

A special registration fee of $100 applies if you register by November 14th, so be quick and grab this opportunity.

For all would be performers, a Comedy Convention will be held over the weekend of Saturday 30th of January. Participants can learn from Australia’s top comedians including a performance workshop from Brad Oakes, with more to be announced.
