When Melbourne’s comedy rooms reopen after the Christmas and New Year’s hiatus, there’s going to be a new addition. On Sunday nights throughout Summer, 303 in Northcote will play host to Playground.
With a limited season of only 6 Sunday night shows, Playground will feature a hand-picked selection of comedians as they prepare for the upcoming comedy festival season. Aiming to provide an environment where local names can share the stage with some of Australia’s best. Opening night will feature the blazing stylings of Tommy Dassalo, Claire Hooper, Kent Valentine and Sammy J. Hosting duties throughout the season will be provided by Ross Noble.
Playground @ 303 launches on Sunday, January 6th at 8:30pm, and will run every week until February 10th. Performance starts at 8:30pm, with $12 tickets available on the door.
