Comedians will be getting together to help support the Amnesty International campaign against the practice of arbitrary detention.

Stand Up For Your Rights hopes to raise awareness of the plights of detainees such as the recent cases of David Hicks and Dr Haneef and the ongoing practice of detention at Guantanamo Bay. Comedians appearing on the bill include Tom Gleeson, Andrew McClelland, Greg Fleet, Wilson Dixon and Courteney Hocking.

Stand Up For Your Rights happens on Saturday October 6th at Her Majestys Theatre in Melbourne. Tix range from $34.90 to $49.90.
