Tripod are an Australian comedy instuitution. From their early beginnings in pubs around Melbourne, they have blossomed into a group that has achieved regular success on National radio, TV and in the theatres playing their songs and performing their shows. Since their last foray into the UK seven years ago, they have written a wealth of new material and they are prepared to give their all to entertain you.

The show last night had such songs as Cuckold (showing the breadth of the english language), The Hot Dog Man (a story about cooked meat), Theme From Mash Guy, Gonna Make You Happy Tonight (a heartfelt love song), a couple of Christmas songs and so much more. The audience was boisterous and only too happy to contribute to the proceedings (we had the double of a drunken Scotsman and a drunken gay Englishman who fancied Gatesy).
The set list changes every night so you can come as many times as your bank account will let you. Just remember the Spiegel Gardens is a huge series of party tents around the big tops that contain the shows, and on these warm evenings people flock to the gardens to drink and sit on the grass. So you will need to get there early and listen out for the call so you can fight your way through the partying crowds all around you. And the noise from outside is always audible through the show.
