This is a story set at a speed-dating session in a bar. There are six people participating in the events, plus the bar staff and a couple of extra guests. We have the slut (both male and female of the species, one of which is slightly more compassionate than the other), the gossipy workaholic solicitor who can’t help but give out secret information on her clients, a poor Russian who needs to find a sugar daddy to bankroll her return to Moscow, a rich man who’s wife has just left him and a teenage boy playing above his level. The couples swap round and the inner turmoil and loneliness in each character is displayed as their stories are told. The casting was good in this play and the stories that each of the characters tell are well emoted and believable. The audience enjoyed the show and this was a nice balanced look into the lives of many people in this modern capitalist world.
