Sista She and the House of the Holy Bootay is the show to come and see if you’ve had a hard day, or you’re planning a big night out. It is also the perfect show if you’re a lady who has some ‘body issues’, which pretty much includes every female in the world, thanks to the fashion industry.
The girls, Sheila and Rasheda and their DJ, give a high-powered and slick hour of hip-hop and comedy, with an occasional dash of thought-provoking material. Sista She have been performing now for five years and this is their first big overseas foray, for which I think they should recieve a contract with MTV to host their own show.
The show includes costume changes, some slow songs, a bit of rappin’ and a lot of bootay shaking. The only thing that was missing was a full house which would have built the energy levels up to a fever pitch. I urge everybody to come and see this show, especially if you’re a bit tired and need a big shot of comedy adrenaline to help you make it to midnight.
