This little play fired off right from the starting line. GAME? sees a party being set up to strobing lights and a drum ‘n’ bass soundtrack which really set the mood.
The action all takes place in a house where the new neighbors have been invited over. The husband is a man of chaos, playing war games with the furniture, while the wife is all order, with her checklist of how the party is to proceed and where every item in the room should be placed. Will chaos win out over order?
We then meet the neighbors. He is trying to ask her a serious relationship question, which she is just as seiously trying to avoid. The men start the macho game, Madness takes a hold on the floor. Dancing, wrestling, marshmallows, this play runs all over the place and takes us along on the anarchic journey.
The question of who wins is played out to it’s ultimate conclusion and just goes to show that nobody wants to meet their neighbors for a good reason. Fiery and action packed, this isn’t a show for those just wanting to sit back and relax.
