The Groggy Squirrel Readers’ Award

The results are in. The readers of The Groggy Squirrel have voted for their favourite shows of the Melbourne Comedy Festival and amongst top honours are Comedian Sandwich Delicious featuring Bec Hill, Matt Kenneally and Rob Hunter, Justin Hamilton with his trilogy Three Colours Hammo; and Josie Long in her first appearance in Melbourne with her show Kindness and Exuberance. The ultimate honours however went to this year’s Barry Award winner Daniel Kitson with his show It’s the Fireworks Talking.

The top twenty shows as voted by readers were dominated by local acts. The list runs as follows:
