This festival sees Justin Kennedy performing a show about how to find love and when to say those vital words “I love you”. The show is performed in one of the smallest rooms in the Festival (seats 30) and it will sell out. Justin himself is a seasoned performer and has had a number of shows in previous festivals and he is also a regular on the local comedy circuit, where he has a reputation as a able and entertaining performer.

The show begins with Justin recounting the occasion where he finally got up the courage to tell his girlfriend those fatal words, in a situation where few of us would like to be (at a party after a lot too many).

From here Justin takes us back to his youth where we learn he was a ladies man until that dreaded puberty. We are told of some of his early loves and how he was a suave and sophisticated man who knew what the ladies were thinking in the playground, but as soon as the teenage years arrived, all the bets were suddenly off.

We are then given tips on how to approach the ladies (although not always successful ones) and how the mind works when a pretty girl glances at you in the pub (sooo true). Finally Justin ends back at the beginning, nicely rounding off his sage of love with the ending to his first story.

This is a very well thought out physical performance from Justin and is highly recommend to the shy people, nongs, geeks, the easily embarrassed, those in love or indeed anyone who enjoys a well told romantic story.
