Christina Adams – Semi Rural
Christina Adams’ new festival show, “Semi Rural” discusses the chance Christina and her fiance Dave took to move to the semi-rural land of Mornington.

The first half of the show sees Christina introducing her animals to us and giving a little background about the chatacters. She also explains how some of the animals almost came between her and her golf-loving fiance. The ultimatum is given and the only thing that can could save their relationship appears to be a visit from Dr Harry. Can he bring the magic back into their lives?
Christina has structured this show as a soap opera style drama. As such there are very few actual jokes. The humour is in the way she develops the animal characters on her property and how they gradually take over her life (and end her teaching career).
This show is well worth a look if you enjoy a story and don’t need a punch-line every thirty seconds. Oh, and Christina has the Aussiest accent I’ve heard so far this festival.
Christina Adams – Semi Rural runs from Tuesday to Sunday until the 29th April. For full booking details go to the comedy festival website
