The ‘Crack Up Comedy’ Club in Mornington will host their first annual Stand Up Comedy Competition, which will result in one lucky comedian walking away with $1,500 worth of cash and prizes. The Competition will be held throughout summer at St. Peters Hall on the corner of Albert & Main Streets. The Competition will comprise of 3 Qualifying heats on Friday November 24, Friday December 15 and Saturday January 6, of which 6 up & coming comedians (per night) will get a 10-15 minute slot to perform their best stand up comedy routine.
Friday 24th November will be hosted by Monty Franklin, Friday 15th December will be hosted by Dave Thornton , Saturday the 6th January will be hosted by Troy Kinne with the Grand Final being held on Friday February 9. The Competition is currently open to all up and coming comedians who are not regular Headline or MC acts around the Melbourne Comedy Circuit.
