OK, I got a ticket for this on ‘cos Marilyn Monroe came into the press office and sang to us, and I thought that was a good enough reason!
I’d like to describe the plot of this 50 minute show but I have no idea what they were doing. I have just finished reading “Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas” and on the basis of that, I reckon they were going through some sort of acid trip. There are five cast members, the fifth only becoming apparent towards the end, and they are dressed as famous characters (Audrey Hepburn, Julie Andrews as a nun, Cicero in a toga, and the mad scientist). They appear to be linked in some way as a result of some action but my recommendation is to just come along to the show and turn your brain off. They trash the stage, say quite a few rude things and simulate sex, but I and the other audience members laughed most of the way through. We all agreed at the end that it made no sense, but was worth a look.
