Donwstairs in a warm room, we were entertained by two ladies and a gentleman on the piano. The ladies (Shoo Shoo baby) gave us an hour of delightfully rearranged songs and costumes. We started with a medley about how they got to the stage in Edinburgh, borrowing heavily from a large number of tunes for the lines they needed. We were then dazzled by the torch song where they combined Falling In Love Again and La Vie En Rose. After this we had a soulful rendition of Loch Lomond before the first costume change.

We are now in the middle east, as shown by the girls harem costumes, but as hard as I try, I just can’t see a red headed harem girl! We get ‘adapted’ version of Caravan, Walk Like An Egyptian A Bazaar in Cairo and A Night In Tunisia. The third costume sees us in the Wild West and the girls really start to upstage each other to try and impress the Hollywood executive in the audience. Finally we get the girls in their Marilyn Monroe/Jane Russell costumes. We also had Tom Lehrer’s Masochism Tango from Craig on the piano during one change.

The singing and piano are excellent, with some beautiful harmonies coning from the most surprising songs. Craig also got out from behind his piano (and I loved the construction of the piano – check it out). All up this was a very funny and entertaining show from two ladies and a gent and should delight all but the most tone-deaf of audiences.
