First a confession. I love Corinne. Not in a stalker-ish way, but I always enjoyed her comedy, as she is disarmingly honest about the silly things she has done.
In this show (her first in Edinburgh), she tells the tale of her youth, growing up in a country town, moving to the ‘big smoke’, getting her first job and having old people nibbling on her, having crazy boyfriends and so many more embarrassing and amusing tales. The most disturbing part (for the male members of the audience) was about stick-on boobies and the fun that can be had with them. The small audience in the room had a very good time and all were relaxed enough to answer Corinne’s questions without embarrassment.
So if you want to have a relaxing but funny hour with a lovely lady then I can think of no better place. In fact bring the folks, they’ll love her too.
