Venue: The Zoo, Southside
This is an hour of improv and sketch comedy from four people. Didn’t catch their names as I was sitting in the front row and thought it would be a bit crass to start writing stuff during the show.
The room is very much like a kitchen. Bare walls and tables and chairs scattered about, plus a bar serving cheap beer. On the downside, the comedy was average in the sketches and a little below average during many of the theatre sports style games. The audience was reluctant to join in for the most part and this may have accounted for the atmosphere. On the plus side, the performers were bouncy throughout and full of energy. So on balance, if you’re prepared to take a chance on possibly average humour but definitely cheap beer, then you can try this.
