Tommy is a long-haired American who has lived in Oz (Sydney, I believe) for the last fourteen years.
The gig is very observational based with the main themes being shopping and being a yank in Australia. The main problems with the show were the slightly flat opening and the almost non-existent ending. Although his material was good solid stand-up, the audience seemed reluctant to give vent to applause. This could be due to the venue (Cloak Room) being extremely hot and soporific, especially towards the back of the room.
If you want to see someone who won’t challenge you but will make you laugh at the silly things in the world around you, then this is a good act to see.
