Laura Davis is a natural. A natural at nature. Ants Don’t Sleep is her first solo show, functioning as a tasting plate of sorts, carefully woven around a very specific theme. Not as specific as the sleeping patterns of insects, although that’s included, but a straggler’s guide to quite a few animals. And sometimes food (the two don’t meat…I mean meet… in the ways you might assume).
Here at The Groggy Squirrel we are constantly being asked by performers about Open Mic opportunities. Well we have just heard about a new Open Mic venue at Syn Bar, Melbourne. They are opening on the 16th of March and are looking for comedians, magicians and novelty acts.

Old Mate Comedy at The Cue Club on Brunswick Street is re-opening on the 10th March. Comics are invitited to get down to the room to book a gig or perhaps even get a spot on the night.
